About ISLA

International Society for Medical Laser Applications

The International Society for Medical Applications (ISLA) was founded in Germany in 2005 with the aim to promote research, education and clinical application of Medical Laser Therapy worldwide.

Right now the we are hosting 3 annual international conferences: One in the US, one in Germany and one in Thailand.

Our intention is to promote Laser Therapy as a valid treatment in mainstream medicine by bringing together research on basic cellular mechanisms of light therapy on the one hand and clinical applications and studies on the other hand.
